F.J. Good Afternoon, I have been battling my icemaker for a while now and I am respectfully requesting your professional advice. The trouble began when a few ice-cubes towards the back of the icemaker began getting lodged while being expelled by the arms. This would always be accompanied by constant loud clicking sounds. Each time (numerous times), I manually removed the ice and the icemaker would work for a while then the same issue would reappear. I subsequently removed the icemaker, conducted a visual inspection, and ensured that there was nothing mechanically wrong with it. After I replaced the icemaker, I adjusted the tension on the front but the same issue continued; at times more frequently. I recently replaced the water filter (long overdue) hoping that this would somehow help out. Now, the icemaker contstantly overfills and spills over, and the arms actually freeze into the ice-cubes, preventing them from being expelled. Thanks.
Answer Hello F.J. You will need to turn the screw on the front that you adjusted. That is the water level screw. Hope this helps. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Monday, March 7, 2011
