David for Model Number FRS23F4CQ5 i just install an ice maker part # 5304458371 i put a litter water in the unit it cycle and ice cubes drop into the bin within an hour, waited another hour no ice cubes, the unit has an water button that you can use to fill a water glass that is working fine . any suggestions
Answer Make sure the freezer is between 0° and 5°. You need to check and see if there is power going to the water valve when the icemaker cycles. If so, replace the water valve on the unit. Also, check and make sure the fill tube on the unit is not frozen and clogged. If so, replace the water valve and thaw out the fill tube. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3.
