By: Frigidaire
Part Number: OEM11331321
Manufacturer Part Number: 134440200

The Upper Felt Seal is an OEM part for Frigidaire dryers. This felt seal is located at the top edge of the dryer drum and is designed to create a tight seal between the drum and the dryer cabinet. This helps prevent clothes from getting caught in the gap and ensures efficient drying by maintaining proper airflow within the drum. For High Temp adhesive order part number: [AP2153130].

Causes of a bad upper felt seal can include regular wear and tear from frequent use, friction and heat exposure over time, and damage from foreign objects inadvertently caught in the dryer. A compromised seal can lead to inefficient drying, increased wear on clothes, and potential damage to the drum.

Symptoms of a bad upper felt seal include:

  • Clothes getting snagged or torn during drying
  • Unusual noises such as squeaking or rubbing from the drum area
  • Decreased drying efficiency or longer drying times
  • Visible wear, thinning, or detachment of the felt seal

This OEM replacement is also compatible with Electrolux, Gibson, Kelvinator, and Kenmore models.

Hello Maricela! You can change the upper felt seal 134440200 by removing the front panel. Here are the instructions from the manufacture on how to remove the front panel, hope this helps! Front Panel Removal: The front panel is secured to the unit frame with screws along the front bottom edge and top left and right corners. Two plastic retainers along each side of the front panel prevent the panels from vibrating and creating noise. To remove the front panel: 1. Remove the top panel and control console. 2. Remove the loop spring and release the bellows from the front panel. 3. Disconnect the Molex connector leading to the wire harness of the door latch at the upper right hand corner next to the controller assembly. 4. Using a #2 square bit screwdriver, extract the four screws along the bottom front edge. 5. Extract the six screws along the top front edge. 6. Lift up then pull the front panel off of the plastic retainers and remove from unit.
