David, the spark module can be located either behind the control panel or just behind the lower back panel. With the unit unplugged and gas turned off, the back panel of the control is the easiest place to start to verify the location. Something that can prevent an ignitor from sparking is when the burner head gets a residue between the ignitor and burner head surface. This should be able to clean off easily. If the burner head is clear, and the ignitor does not have any cracks or broken wires, then it would most likely be a spark module issue.
