David for Model Number FGGF3056KFH I just purchased the Spark Module 5304508269. One of my burners stopped sparking. I am hoping this does the trick like it has for others. My model is Frigidaire FGGF3056KFH. Do you know where the spark module is located on my unit? I am assuming it is behind the back panel as well but would like to know before I attempt the repair. Thank you!
Answer David, the spark module can be located either behind the control panel or just behind the lower back panel. With the unit unplugged and gas turned off, the back panel of the control is the easiest place to start to verify the location. Something that can prevent an ignitor from sparking is when the burner head gets a residue between the ignitor and burner head surface. This should be able to clean off easily. If the burner head is clear, and the ignitor does not have any cracks or broken wires, then it would most likely be a spark module issue. Read More...
