Mexico Man for Model Number Kenmore range 790.72802010 Our right front burner battles to ignite. My understanding is that we need a round piece, that goes right there under that burner. I am finding an ignitor module on the @ appliancepartspros.com website, but I assume this is not what the repairman was referring to. Tell me, do I need a different part or a different repairman?
Answer Mexico man, You would most likely need the 316536622/316536622 Ignitor/orifice assy., top burner, right front, 17K, w/tube & holder to replace the "round piece, that goes right there under that burner" But first check to make sure the burner base, burner cap, and ignitor aren't distorted, damaged corroded or dirty. It is possible that you may need the spark module kit, but check for any loose wiring connections and that all the burner orifice holders screws are tight and have a good "ground" connection to the cooktop and a proper ground to the range.
