Dave for Model Number 253.29082992 This is a frost free upright freezer, the compressor and interior fan not running at all but the interior light is on, I replaced the compressor starter and run capacitor still not working. Tried turning the defrost timer but made no difference. Turning the temp. control inside also makes no difference. Can I troubleshoot either of these controls ? cannot find a wiring diagram
Answer Dave, The thermostat in the unit can be tested for continuity across the 2 terminals. If there is no continuity when warm the the thermostat will be faulty.
