Bob for Model Number LGHC2342LF2 Refrigerator is little over 1 year old. The fresh food section temperature fluctuates (mostly lower, down to 23F). The temperature display readings are not accurate: +(10-26)degrees above actual temp. Done: 1. The Service Diagnostics Mode shows everything in order: damper door; thermistors; evaporator fan). 2. Checked thermistor readings 5-10% diff IAW the Resistance Chart.3. Replaced the switch control board #241973702 (your web got the wrong #241973817) and nothing's changed, the same story. Any thoughts?
Answer Hi Bob. The damper part # 241853801 regulates the freezer air into the fresh food. As well the return air vent part behind the crisper drawers on the center mullion divider. Remove the drawers and use a screwdriver to see if the air vent is open and not clogged in any way. Then the refrigerator damper is motor controlled, if it is stuck open then it will have the issue you have. Thank You. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Friday, July 13, 2012
