Maurice for Model Number fde336res1 My start button wont work untill I hold it in. Is there any way I can check this before I order a part. It works good long as i hold it in on my dryer. Will it hurt to hold it in? Do you think this is the part I need?
Answer Hello Maurice. It sounds like the start switch is bad in the motor. The push to start is working correctly, if it is starting the dryer. You will need to replace the motor 131560100.
