Brent for Model Number GLEQ642AS2 When we start drying the dryer it gets real hot and has a smell to it.
Answer Hi Brent. Normally when a dryer has a clogged vent system and the vent hood / cap outside is not working right, your unit will start to over heat. This will lead to blowing a thermal fuse and weakening the cycling thermostat, possibly opening the High limit (Safety Fuse). The thermal fuse is part # 134120900. It is located on the inside back wall. At the top rt. side on the heater housing. Thank you. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Tuesday, July 12, 2011
