Gordon S for Model Number frigidaire washer/dryer stack unit Our washer will go thru the wash cycle, the water will drain, but it will not spin. It doesn't do it every time. We have replaced the washer timer assembly once already, but the problem started again after a few months. Would the lid lock switch assembly cause this problem?
Answer Hello Gordon. You need to make sure the air dome on the side of the tub is not clogged and make sure the pressure hose on the unit is not clogged on the unit. It is not likely to be the lid lock, but it could be caused by a faulty lid lock assembly. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...
