Stephen for Model Number FGID2466QF I purchased this product from this site, but after replacing my dishwasher won't fill with water. I did notice a difference in the label, the Old: C – 207/18-A10 New: C-283/17-a11 The remaining lines matched up: 33199020 120 V 60 Hz 807047901 Did I install the right product?
Answer Stephen, the part numbers are matching so it is the correct product. You may want to check that the control is sending 120VAC to the valve and ensure that the water was not possibly left in the off position. If the valve does not receive 120VAC, then you may want to check the float switch to ensure that it does not have something holding it up. If the float switch is being held in the up position, this can cause the valve to not get water. Another thing you can check for is underneath the dishwasher there is a switch that the float engages and disengages, if this has failed in the open position when the button on top is pressed, then it will stop voltage from going to the valve. The last component that would prevent voltage getting to the valve would be the main control itself. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Tuesday, February 26, 2019
