Visa May 21, 2022 for Model Number FFBD2408NS10C hey guys, thanks for your help. I had purchased and replaced the control switch assembly as you said in your response now the blinking energy saver light is gone, but the dishwasher still would not run. there is power coming through but it still won't run. what to do again. thanks and I appreciate the help.
1 Answer Visa, the first step would be to test the door switches of the latch assembly 5304525220 to identify if they are operating properly. The switches will have continuity when the door is closed. Read More...
Brad October 10, 2020 for Model Number FFBD2406NW9B My dishwasher is not starting. After a cycle is selected, the lights on the display light up. The 'start' button/light is flashing. When pushed, the light stops blinking (steady on). Normally you would hear the water start filling in the dishwasher. Now, you can hear a click like the valve is energizing but no water flow can be heard. I have not taken anything apart as of this moment. I figure it is either the control board not sending a signal to the water fill valve (bad board) or that the valve is not operating (bad valve) or that something is blocking the water line. It also seemed that you had to push the start button, with a momentary holding it in, before it would start. None of these problems were and instant stopping of the machine working. It has been a gradual progression to the point that it will not work at all. Please advise. Thank you
1 Answer Brad, "Now, you can hear a click like a valve is energizing but no water flow can be heard." First, check and make sure the float isn't blocked or stuck in the up position. Then check or replace the water inlet valve 807047901 Valve and flush the water supply line from under the sink, Read More...
L.M. February 15, 2020 for Model Number FGID2466QF5A The water inlet valve drips from itself only in cold nights in winter. But the water pipes have never frozen. The dishwasher runs well all the time. Should I replace it (part no. AP5948913) ?
1 Answer L.M. If the valve had leaked at any time I would not trust it and therefore would replace it. 807047901 Read More...
Stephen February 26, 2019 for Model Number FGID2466QF I purchased this product from this site, but after replacing my dishwasher won't fill with water. I did notice a difference in the label, the Old: C – 207/18-A10 New: C-283/17-a11 The remaining lines matched up: 33199020 120 V 60 Hz 807047901 Did I install the right product?
1 Answer Stephen, the part numbers are matching so it is the correct product. You may want to check that the control is sending 120VAC to the valve and ensure that the water was not possibly left in the off position. If the valve does not receive 120VAC, then you may want to check the float switch to ensure that it does not have something holding it up. If the float switch is being held in the up position, this can cause the valve to not get water. Another thing you can check for is underneath the dishwasher there is a switch that the float engages and disengages, if this has failed in the open position when the button on top is pressed, then it will stop voltage from going to the valve. The last component that would prevent voltage getting to the valve would be the main control itself. Read More...
