E.Simon As the washer fills, the tub sinks to the point that the motor mounting bracket rubs on the base of the washing machine when it has a large load. When it agitates or spins, you can hear a grinding noise. I believe the springs in the suspension rods are weak to the point that it cannot support the weight. With a small load, the tub sinks, but not enough to rub on the bottom. Will replacing the suspension rods cure this problem?
