Nancy for Model Number TBX22PRYNRWW Our GE profile refrigerator auger has started to have the chrome plating shave off into the ice. We have a whole house water filter so we know that is not the problem. I can take my fingernail and peel off the plating. Is this replacement solid steel and not plated in any way?
