Donna for Model Number WHRE5550K2WW I have a GE HydroWave and Infusor that is fairly new and it won't agitate or spin. It fills and drains just fine. The belt is tight and the dampening straps all look good. I checked the lid switch with putting a magnet inbetween but it did nothing. This motor doesn't have the blinking led light on it so I have no indication of errors. I do hear a slight hum from underneath. What could this problem be? Help!!
Answer Donna, You will want to check the thermal fuse that is located in the wire harness at the front right corner. Test the fuse for continuity. If there is no continuity then replace the fuse.
