Irene for Model Number ZIS360NRB My build in GE side by side fridge has decided to turn itself into double freezer. Fresh food section is -2c to -4c and freezer is -16c. Changing temperature on the internal setting area (of fridge side) doesn't take any effect. It just stay for a few seconds and then change back to the same negative temperature. We have tried to turn it to "OFF" and turn off power for a day, clean the interior, then turn it back on. It takes a day or two but it resort back to arctic temperature again. Answer Irene, There is a damper in the refrigerator section in the ceiling part that you will want to try to access and see if it is stuck in the open position. This would be the most likely cause for the freezing in the refrigerator sections. The part number for the damper is WR49X10107. Read More...
