Liz for Model Number ZICS360NRARH My refrigerator is about 15 years old and has been working well. But now the freezer frequently is cooling too much. I set it to 0 and the fresh food compartment to 37. When I come back a few hours later the readout says the freezer is -4 or -5 and the fresh food might be up to 40. So I reset everything (using the temperature key to set it to 6 degrees in the freezer which turns everything off, then resetting the temps to 0 and 37) and that works for a day or two, then it acts up again. The freezer sometimes cools to -6. I have not looked behind the fridge because it's a built-in but the top controls and coils are clean. I think the sensors are working because they are reading the temperatures accurately?
Answer Liz, For this issue, check to make sure that there is not an issue with the evaporator icing up because this could cause elevated temperatures but if this is good then it would most likely be caused by a faulty main control board.
