Curtris for Model Number ZICS360NRDLH Everything is working Evaporator fans e.t.c. Compressor runs constantly though and does not shut off. Freezer and Fridge are both constant now at 55 degrees. There is no ice build up on anything. How can I test the motherboard to verify it is bad? Tech that came to my house, poked around for a minute, literally, with a flash light and then tried to sell me a $2100 repair claiming its a sealed system and can't be fixed. Thank You
Answer Curtis, If the fans are operational and the compressor is constantly running, then the control board would not be the issue. Then what you will want to look at is for a frost pattern on the evaporator coils. If there is not an even frost pattern or if the frost pattern is very little then you would have a sealed system issue. The sealed system issue could range from a leak in the system, a restriction or could be an bad compressor not pumping the refrigerant. Read More...
