Curtis for Model Number ZICS360NRDLH

You folks answered my first question lightning fast Thank You so much Since you feel it is not a motherboard issue but likely a sealed unit issue I did forget to mention that for some reason now it has begun dispensing a small amount of water to the icemaker each time I open and then close the bottom freezer drawer, Does not do it with the fridge door only the freezer drawer. Also I checked the voltage on the thermistor connector "J1" between pins 1,2,3,4 against pin 5 and I am only getting 1.5 to 1.58 volts. And my meter is not picking up any reading for ohms it just continues to show "OL."

Answer

Curtis, The little bit of water may be caused by residual moisture that can build with partial cooling. As far as the thermistor readings. The thermistors may have an issue if you are not getting any resistance. Even though the thermistors may be faulty with the compressor running the unit should be cooling. You would have more of an issue with over freezing and possible freezing in the refrigerator compartment if it were just strictly the thermistors.
