Ron for Model Number ZIC360N I purchased a control board for my ref. My evap.keeps icing up. After installing the new board the evap still icing up.There is no defrost timer. I read in one question and answer that the control board puts the ref in the defrost mode. I check the heater element and it has continuenty. What else could it be? Any help would greatly be appricate. Thanks Ron
Answer Ron, You will want to check the defrost heater and thermostat assembly to make sure that they have continuity. If not then replace the part. If they do then check the defrost thermistor for resistance. The resistance values should be 42.5 K at 0 degrees and 14. k and at 77 degrees. If not within range then replace the thermistor.
