David for Model Number GE PROFILE PSS26SGPASS The refig half is too cold. No matter where you set the temperature it stays between 33 & 29 deg. When you change the temperature, it doesn't act right. It doesn't stay where you set it to. Also should you be able to shut off the refrig and leave the freezer on? You can't. We replaced the thermistors but did not help. Do we need to replace the main board?
Answer David, Most likely the issue with your refrigerator will be in the refrigerator damper assembly. The Damper is located in the upper left corner of the refrigerator section. To access you will need to pull the duct assembly down. You will want to check to see if the damper door is broken. If broken you will need to replace it with part number WR49X10091. Read More...
