Bob for Model Number WCSR20900D5WW drum does not spin, lid switch seems to be functioning, i was going to change capacitor, does that sound correct thing to do?
Answer Bob, Not really, especially if the washer fills and agitates ? Capacitors either work or don't work, most of the time. So you will need to check the lid switch circuits WH12X10531 to ensure the switch circuit opens and closes with the lid movement. You'll also need to test the water level switch WH12X10065 if the switch circuit does not reset to the empty position after the tub drains, the washer won't spin. Read More...
