Answer Reed, You'll need to remove the top panel and the control panel to access and check the buttons and user interface. To remove the top panel: Remove the Phillips-head screw that attaches the control panel rear trim. Pull the trim backward and remove. Remove the 2 Phillips-head screws that attach the top panel to the cabinet.Raise the front of the top panel approximately 3 inches, then pull forward to clear the rear tabs. To remove the control panel: Remove the cycle selector knob by pulling outward. Remove the Phillips-head screw underneath the cycle selector knob. Lift the control panel off vertically. Disconnect the wire harness. Remove the 5 1/4 in. hex head screws and dismount the user interface control board. You now have access to the buttons, shafts, springs, and switches. Read More...
