Victor for Model Number GE GSD2020Z04BB Water is leaking from the bottom of the dishwasher. I removed the toe panel and saw that water is dripping from the motor. Judging from previous questions and answers on this website, it appears that I have to replace the pump and the motor? Or can I replace some washers or seals? The dishwasher still runs well and appears to be in great shape but is it still worth R/R a pump and motor instead of purchasing a new dishwasher?
Answer Hello Victor. You need to check and see if it is leaking from the pump seal kit WD19X10032, pump connect WD18X214, or the sump inlet WD18X213. If the leaking is from one of these three parts, you can just replace the part. If the leak is coming from the motor housing, it is beast to replace the pump and motor assembly WD26X10013.
