Marcos for Model Number FRS6HR45KS0 The video showing how to replace the water connector indicates to cut the end of each tube about 1/4'' with a razor blade. I don't think I have enough room to cut one of the tubes (tube is not long enough) so I have two questions: do I really need to cut the end of the tube(s)? If so, can I use scissors instead or why a razor blade? Thanks!
Answer Marcos, As long as there is no damage to the tubing then you would not need to cut the end of the tubing but if you do cut it you will want to use a razor knife as a pair of scissors will crimp one side and cause it to not seat properly.
