Jennifer for Model Number WHDVH660HBB We just replaced the drive belt on our front load washing machine. During the spin cycle there is a lot of noise. We have checked for noise from the bearings and we here nothing. How do you know if the support shocks are bad. We do notice that we can rock the drum EASILY from side to side. The machine is 6 years old.
Answer Jennifer, If the noise is a grinding noise during the spin cycle then the bearings would be the issue. When the unit gets to higher speeds to causes the noise but would not be heard during gradual rotation. The faster it spins the more noise there will be. If that is not the case then the issue would most likely be shocks that are bad. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Friday, May 30, 2014
