Ginger M for Model Number WBVH6240 My washer started making a loud knocking noise when trying to spin out the other day. It seemed like the basin was hitting the door or something. I managed to do a few more loads but after the last one my laundry room was full of smoke! Smelled like burnt rubber. Husband has checked it all out - belt is still good, shocks are good so he thinks its a bad bearing??? It looks like it mess up the seal and the white plastic part of the tub was rubbed but maybe that's not such a big deal.
