Phillip F for Model Number DPSE810EG0WT The dryer drum has much play from back to front. Clothes get caught bewteen the drum and the housing which leaves black marks on clothes. I bought the rear sleeve but the new one is the same height as the old so this will not fix the problem. What do I need to fix this problem?
Answer Phillip, You need to check the top bearing WE03X25079 and drum slides WE03X37318 and WE03X37317 for distortion and excessive wear. If the bearing is distorted or the slides worn excessively a gap between the drum and the front duct assembly will develop and articles can/will get stuck in the gap.
