Taylor for Model Number PYE22KSKSS November 2022 I had to replace this fan and it successfully allowed cooling to resume. Yesterday I noticed the fridge was not cooling again so I assumed the fan was faulty for the second time. I removed the cover and discovered the fan was no longer spinning and the entire evaporator was iced over including on the defroster thermostat and thermistor. I defrosted all the ice and installed a new fan BUT the fan is not spinning. I checked the volts from receptacle and it reads 13.6 volts so it is receiving power. I plugged the new fan (and the old one) into the receptacle for the Deli fan and this made the fan turn on. Puzzled..I checked and replaced the thermistor in the fridge side thinking this might do the trick but the fan still will not turn on. I have the Defrost thermostat coming in the mail tomorrow, assuming this might be worth replacing as well. I fear that this is a bigger issue then these small parts and the issue could be with the main control board? Does this sound like a control board issue if the outlet assuming it is not triggering the fan to turn on?
Answer Taylor, This issue does sound like it would be caused by a faulty control board. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Friday, June 9, 2023
