Paul G for Model Number JTP18W0A1WW The convection doesn't work on my GE built-in oven. I'm trying to diagnose it. Is there a self-test mode I can put it in? Or a way to retrieve codes? I don't see the fan spin, but not sure if it's a fan issue or control board.
Answer Paul, There is no diagnostic to pull the codes and if there was a code it would show on the display. As for what to check, Test power to the fan motor which should have 120 vac to it. If there is not 120 vac to it then the control board will be the issue. If there is 120 vac to it then the fan motor is faulty and would need replaced. Read More...
