Heeb for Model Number PSC25NGSA Seems that the water pressure to the dispenser has decreased. The ice maker isn't filling anymore either. Suspected that a new filter was needed, but when it was changed, the problem seemed to get worse. There seems to be plenty of pressure from the main line. I've changed the inlet valve, but this made no difference. After I found the filter bypass plug and installed it, there was no difference in the water pressure, but when I pushed the plug toward the rear panel of the fridge or pulled it slightly toward me the pressure to the dispenser increased significantly. We've got pretty hard city water. How could the water filter housing be affecting the water pressure?
Answer Heeb, For this issue you would want to replace the water filter housing assembly which would cause both the ice and water to not work. The way that it can affect water pressure by the pins for the water to pass through being worn or faulty. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Monday, January 9, 2017
