Tina for Model Number PDWT100V00BB I have the part WD22X10077 on the way (the one installed in my dishwasher is breaking away in little pieces and clogging the drain). But, I can't get the current broken one out. I have seen suggestions to pull the tabs toward each other...but that isn't working. I've slid screwdrivers down each side, and that didn't work. Any other suggestions??? Thanks.
Answer Hello Tina. Remove the tub filter cover. Remove the wire mesh fine filter. Remove the lower kick plate. Remove the upper filter clamp. Unclasp the sump filter by using e screwdriver carefully and... more unclasp it from the inside of the tub. Lift it up and out. If you are unable to then you need to remove the whole sump inlet assy. Loosen the lt. clamp and the fwd clamp that holds it to the motor inlet. Be prepared for water drainage. Remove it from the pump inlet hose. Replace the filter in reverse steps. Read More...
