Sebastien for Model Number PDW7712K01SS How do I change the filter sump in a GE profile PDW7712K01SS. I see the vee knotches on the sump that keeps them in, in your picture but I still don't get see how to get it out. Do I slip a screwdiver on the side and sqeeze it?
Answer Hi Sebastian. Remove the tub filter cover. Remove the wire mesh fine filter. Remove the lower kick plate. Remove the upper filter clamp. Unclasp the sump filter by using e screwdriver carefully and unclasp it from the inside of the tub. Lift it up and out. If you are unable to then you need to remove the whole sump inlet assy. part # 505. Loosen the lt. clamp and the fwd clamp that holds it to the motor inlet. Be prepared for water drainage.
