Don for Model Number RGB790SEH2SA Hotpoint My oven ignitor is bad. The parts list calls out for a GE WB2X9154 round style, I have a GE WB13K21 square style. It fits the mounting bracket and lights the oven. Is there an operational difference that could cause an issue?
Answer Hello Don, The primary difference is the amperage needed to heat the ignitor to the temperature necessary to ignite the gas. The round one will light the gas sooner and this should make a difference when cooking by recipe. The round one WB2X9154 should be installed in this unit. Read More...
