Dave for Model Number JVM1540DNBB I put my Pyrex cup of water in the microwave and hit "4" as always. It ran for about five seconds, then it got a lot louder and the sound had a lower pitch, almost a growl. The light inside the microwave dimmed. All of this lasted about a second or two, then the whole thing went dark. No lights, no sound, nothing. Now it doesn't respond to any keypad commands, and the LCD is blank. I'd like to check the fuse as described in other forum entries. How do I access that fuse? Do I need to remove the microwave from its range-hood installation? Thanks.
Answer Hello Dave. Yes, remove the microwave and remove the outer cover. If the fuse is bad, you will need a new diode WB27X10597 and magnetron WB27X10939 based on the information you provided. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Thursday, August 14, 2014
