Josh for Model Number GSD4100J00WW I recently got new seal and gasket insert. I'm still leaking and I notice there are gaps between the insert and seal. Should those gaps exist or is that a problem? The seal looks to be the same size as the previous one and the original insert was missing entirely so I'm unsure if this is how it is supposed to be.
Answer Josh, The "gaps between the insert and seal" shouldn't affect the operation or leaks from the door, as long as everything is installed properly. But you'll need to check the lower spray arm, for split seams and/or debris in the venturi openings, directing water towards the door seal.
