David August 26, 2022 for Model Number 36314152000 My 22 yr old kenmore begins to leak about 3rd way into wash cycle. Leaks at the bottom and inner door insulation gets wet. Tested door gasket with dollar bill, it was snug. This center piece, WD08x10015, is missing. Moved to house last year. Not sure if this piece was ever there and it’s not listed in some parts list. Should this part be there.

Millie February 14, 2022 for Model Number GSD3960L00SS I have a leak on the corners and the middle of our dishwasher door. I ordered and replaced the baffles, the gasket around the door. It kept leaking so I looked online again and what was suggested was a long bottom gasket - part #WD08X10075. I ordered it but upon inspection, there wasn't an old one to replace nor a groove to slide it into?? I then reviewed the video for the gasket again and this time I saw a middle piece that goes between the ends of the gasket around the door part #WD08X10015. Turns out that piece was missing entirely. I didn't see either of those on the diagram for the dishwasher. I'm crossing my fingers that this works. If it doesn't do you have any other suggestions?
1 Answer Millie, oftentimes, this type of failure occurs if there is a crack or clogged jet in the lower spray arm WD22X155 or if the water overfills. It is recommended that the lower spray arm be inspected and that the water level be checked to identify if it is filling up to the lip of the tub. If it is filling up to the tub lip, the unit is overfilling and the valve would need to be tested to identify if it is allowing water to pass through when there is no voltage being applied to it. Steve Corwin May 03, 2020 for Model Number GLD5560L00SS Have small leak at bottom of door. The 'help your self guide does NOT show or match the door frame or gasket for this model. There is a full surface panel on the door and the piece that appears slightly damaged is in the center of the bottom of the door. But its is not a short piece, rather that piece goes completely across the bottom of the door. It would appear I need to remove that panel - 2 screws each side of top and one at bottom each side to access the gasket. Your suggestions or guidance?

But the washer is still leaking from the bottom of the door. Could you help to check what could be the problem? The gasket insert looks two short for the gap of the door seal at the bottom.
