Janet for Model Number JVM1850SM4SS Our GE microwave problem is the same as everyone else. The clips holding the grille in place have broken off. This is the second time our grille has broken into pieces by simply opening the door and our oven is only 3 years old. According to GE parts, the stainless steel grille (WB07X11019) has now been replaced by a black plastic one (WB07X11378). Is it possible that the original stainless steel replacement part is still available? Can the stainless steel covering be removed and placed on a new replacement part?
Answer Hello Janet, It would be extremely difficult if possible at all to remove the stainless cover and putting it on the black one. I'm sorry but the stainless grille has been discontinued and unless you can locate one in an inventory somewhere or a used part you will not find one. Read More...
