Teri for Model Number DBLR333ET1WW I bought a new coil yesterday and installed it. The dryer worked through a load and a half and just cut off. It squealed very loudly though. I've taken it back apart now and i notice that the heating element may be ruined. It doesnt have a perfectly round hole in the center like the picture on here shows, it has a notch worn out toward the bottom left. So two questions....1) Is there something I may have to replace behind the housing? 2) Does the connectors and coil come with this assembly?
Answer Teri, The connectors and coil does come with the heater housing assembly which is part number WE11X103. Also check the bearing to make sure that it is good as this could cause the issue that occurred. There should be nothing behind the housing that would affect the heater. Read More...
