Brad for Model Number GSH25JFTA I discovered an ice build up under the bottom freezer storage bin. I cleaned the unit and removed the ice. The next morning I see ice beginning to form above the bin and freezing over the drain area. I have not cleaned the drain as yet but might this be a heat coil issue? Thank you
Answer Hello Brad, This is a stopped up drain issue. You should install a heat probe 819043 and make sure the temperature is not set below 0°F. You should also check for air leaks around the door seal and at the ice door which would allow room humidity to enter the unit and cause a frost accumulation. The ice maker should be connected to the cold water and not the hot, which would also cause a frost issue. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Tuesday, May 15, 2018
