Carmen for Model Number PFSF6PKXABB We are having trouble with our ice maker. Water seems to accumulate under the ice tray causing it to freeze in the housing. We have to hit it to break it loose. Also some of the ice cubes seem to be frozen together in a clump in the tray. But the dispenser is working ok. Any ideas how to fix this issue?
Answer Carmen, Check the water supply to the refrigerator, then check or replace the WR57X10082 water valve. Low water pressure, or a weak fill valve solenoid can cause the ice maker to overfill and leak into the ice bin and cause the cubes to "clump" together. Read More...
