Ryan for Model Number Pye22pshiss I replaced the icemaker and both water valves inside the refrigerator but it still won't make any ice. I checked the water line from the water valve inside the door to the icemaker and it's clear too with no ice built up. Is there a way to put this refrigerator in diagnosis mode to see what could be causing the icemaker to not kick on?
Answer Ryan, You need power, water, and freezing temp to make. Temp comes from a fan in the freezer section sending air to the ice maker area. Needs to be around zero. Power is coming from the main control board. 120 VAC. And with replacing all the water valves that shouldn't be an issue. So it would likely be a temp or power issue.
