George for Model Number JBP26WY2WW When the top left burner is on, heating a pot or pan, we can feel a current when touching the pan or pot. This doesn't happen on the other burners. It feels like it may deliver an electric shock but is not that extreme. We have tried exchanging the burner itself but the problem persists at that left front burner location only. What may be the cause of feeling an electric current? Thank you for your reply.
Answer George, you will want to check to make sure that there aren't any bare wires and that the burner coils are setting in and making a proper connection at the receptacle. If there is a slight spacing, then the burner coil can arc and cause this issue. Aside from that, the infinite switch WB21X36771 improperly engaging would be the next concern. Read More...
