C.J. for Model Number JB968TH4WW The convection fan is not blowing. I set the oven to convection 375°F and it will reach temperature without the fan. If I switch the oven to bake the temperature 375°F, after reaching temperature on convection, the oven does not hold the temperature. What's the best way to test fan, door switch and possibly the controller.
Answer Hello C.J., Since the difference between the two circuits are the control and the convection fan, either the relay on the control has failed or the convection heater has failed. The convection element should read about 23O of resistance. If it reads out of tolerance, replace the element WB44T10053. If it reads within 10% of 23O, replace the control WB27T10484. Read More...
