Dc for Model Number JBP79WB4WW I hear a slight hissing/crackling noise for a fraction of a second when the rear left element powers up or down. I opened up the cook top and inspected the element. It looked fine. I turned it on and off while listening closely. It seems that the noise is coming from the control switch, not the element. I pulled the back panel off and confirmed that was the source of the noise. All the wire connections were tight on the switch, and the switch did not feel warm to the touch after several cycles. I assume there is a little arcing going on inside it. I'm not sure whether this is normal, or something that could be a potential fire hazard. Any thoughts?
