Jlj for Model Number JB600GXD1 For GE range with model plate showing J B600G0D1A H which is generally searched for as JB600G*D1 and appears in your system as JB600GXD1. We replaced two front burners and their receptacles with parts from you. WB30X218 (6") and WB30X219 (8"), WB17X5051 (receptacles). The left front (6") burner now works perfectly. The 8" burner appears to be fine, also, if tested in the left rear 8" position, but in its right front position, turning it on results in a full-on very hot burner, no matter what the burner control setting is. (It hasn't been used that way, just turned on briefly for testing.) I suspect that the problem might be in the switch, for which the proper replacement seems to be WB21X5243? Is that right? I was also considering replacing the wiring from the switch to that receptacle, but didn't know the specs for appropriate wire? I doubt if the problem is with the receptacle, but was wondering if there was anything in the receptacle that should be checked to be sure it wasn't causing this?
