Steve for Model Number JBP24G S1AD Are these switches compatible with the old switches? I had a calrod element arch out and explode. Also frying the old switch. I replaced all the elements and I purchased the WB21x5243 switch and installed it. The burner worked fine and didn't think much of it until I tried to use another burner while the WB21x5243 was on at the same time. Instantly the old switch burnt out. Independently the old switches worked fine and worked with the other old switches. So I tried again with the new and old and again the old switch burnt out. Any ideas?
Answer Hello Steve. It sounds like the switch is wired wrong. You need to check and make sure L1, L2, H1, H2, and P are wired properly. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Monday, October 12, 2015
