Brian Fulp for Model Number GSD2220Z05BB I've just installed successfully the Impeller Assembly purchased through you. However now I have water leaking from the tub (dripping) coming around the seal on the inlet sump. Should I caulk that seal or is there a specific way to install that? It doesn't seat properly (its the original one). Any advice or instruction would be appreciated! Thank you in advance
Answer Brian, You'll need to redo everything you did before, including carefully removing the inlet sump from the tub. You'll need to check and clean, any and all debris that has accumulated on the tub and under the seal of the sump. You normally don't need to use a sealant between the tub and sump assembly, but it won't hurt, Also check and make sure the inlet is not creased, torn, or has a pin hole, and properly seat and "lock" the retainer portion onto the tub.
