Lee for Model Number PDW9980L00SS Selecting normal or cookware washing mode with - added heat - pre-wash & heat dry. The washing will begin and then shortly after a while it will stop with water in the bottom of the washer and it will show 97 minutes left and the heat dry light will be lit but nothing more happening. (I recently lowered the water temp. on my water heater from middle setting to one notch lower - just added info for you)
Answer Lee, With this problem starting in conjunction with the water temp being lowered then this may be the issue. The water temperature must be at a minimum of 120 degrees and if the unit is not sensing that temp it will heat the water to the proper temp and will sit idle until temp is reached. If you increase the setting on the water tank again and see if the unit works properly after the water heater has come to temp then this will tell you if that is the issue. Read More...
