Mike for Model Number GDF520PGJ2BB I have no lights on control buttons. Turned power off to washer, waited and turned on still no power. I took lower cover off and dropped mother board, found small green led light continually blinking. I unpluged power from mother board and plugged back in. Now led light on mother board stays lit but still no lights on control panel and doesn't work. Is my mother board bad?
Answer Mike, if the LED was flashing 4 times in a second, the failure would be in the machine control WD21X24900C. If it is flashing 6 times in 3 seconds, hold the start and heated dry buttons for 5 seconds. If it is flashing 7 times in three seconds, the heating element WD05X30818 would need to be tested from the wires at the main control at connection J702. The heating element should measure 23.4O. The voltage output would also need to be tested going from the main control to the user interface and it should measure about 13VDC. If there is not voltage, the machine control has failed. If there is voltage, the user interface WD21X31899 has failed. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Monday, March 22, 2021
